Ayan The Hero

“Hurry up Ayan... Bus may come anytime” - Ma reminded.

Ayan Smiled and told “Don’t worry Mom I will be ready in time.”

I know your few second means ... Ma lament.

Ayan’s Father trying to concentrate on Newspaper and waiting for a cup of Tea but noticed busyness, so he changed his plan and kept himself quiet and wait for his turn.

By-By Mom-Dad .... Ayan stubble hand.

Bye Ayan. Ma said.

As soon as he reached to Apartment gate, saw bus at the corner of the road opposite to his apartment.

Within a minute bus reached and Ayan jumped on Bus and took his reserved seat beside driver in Cabin area.

“Good Morning Uncle. How are you?” Ayan wished.

Good Morning Ayan. I am fit and fine as usual – told driver uncle.

Please hurry up else we will be late and your dear Principal will eat my brain.

Ayan smiled and said “Don’t worry uncle we will reach in time.”

Driver concentrates on his driving. Ayan was enjoying morning ride and greenery and Chirping of birds. Other Children were planning for daily Antakasari(song). Ayan noticed driver uncle’s dozing and putting his hand on his chest frequently. The bus was running at a speed of 40Km/hr and suddenly the driver uncle make woops sound and fell on steering. Bus lost its control and all children began to shake violently and crying in fear and the bus may hit any moment.

Ayan also shaking violently but in the next moment he calmed down and he was just speechless and instead of shouting and crying he called Bus Assistant and told him to stop the bus.

Instead of assisting help, Assistant jumped from Bus & save his life. All Children started praying. Ayan firmly guided all Children to hold their seat tightly, so that in case of accident they can survive with less causality.

Ayan never meet with such situation. He remembered driver uncle used push middle lever (break) and move the keys on anticlockwise to stop bus at school stand. He applied his presence of mind. He moved the key on anticlockwise and stands on the break and at-last he succeeds to stop engine but in the next moment the bus hit a tree and stopped.

All Children shouted “Help-help-help ........”

Immediately morning worker and a mobile police van reached to the spot for rescue and seen driver was senseless with major head injury and 2-3 students got minor injury. The police immediately rushed them to nearby hospital.

When rescue operation was almost final, Ayan gets senseless. Later he was also taken to Hospital.

When Ayan opened his eyes, seen his parents, Principal, Police Commissioner and a Big-gun looking at him.

How are you? My dear Son... Mom weeping.

Ayan looked at her and smiled.

“Where is driver uncle” – asked Ayan.

All people were speechless.

The Principal told affectionately “My dear Ayan I am proud of you. You are my real hero. I am very thankful to you for saving so many children’s life including your driver uncle.”

Principal wipe tears and added “Your driver uncle will be alright very soon”.

Moral : Strong will power can win any race.
